Books have been set forth on this matter, and the conflict and ruckus about where the "hot" one armed bandits are installed in the casino are still intense – sixty yrs after the slots were first placed in gambling houses.

The quintessential rule is that the best slot machines were positioned just inside the main entryway of the casino; so that casino fanatics passing by would be able to see real jackpot winners … be inspired to come unto the gambling floor and play.
